Can it be done? Probably not. Worth a humorous try over the weekend, anyway.

Yesterday, I found this amazing new video from Leica Gallery, Sao Paulo. Celebrating 100 years of Leica photography with an exhibition opening November 1, 2014.

In the video there are many reference to famous photographers and famous photographs. So I had the idea of testing the historical intelligence of Leica users. Compared to a group of street photographers,  since Leica is so very relevant for a street photography. Or should I say: Used to be so relevant for street photography.

I shared the video to these Facebook sites: One Every Street (9.800 members); Leica Street Photography (6.641 members); The Europeans (641 members); The EDGE. Contemporary Street Photography in Europe (2.203 members); and my to own Facebook Timeline (2.291 Friends).

I have to follow this during the next days, or even weeks, to see who comes out on the top. You would anticipate the Leica Street Photography had an advance as we all know that fine gear are accompanied by good memories. Pun intended :-).

Here is the text that introduced the fine video from Sao Paulo on each of the sites mentioned above:

TEST YOUR BRILLIANCE IN (STREET) PHOTOGRAPHY
WHO ARE THE PHOTOGRAPHERS AND THE PHOTOGRAPHS REFERRED TO IN THIS VIDEO?

In the video from Leica, there are references to a series of famous photographs and photographers. Who are the photographers and what are the titles of the photographs? From which years are they?

Write your best guess in the comment box. Write the name of the photographer, title of photograph and the year it was captured.

Give it a go please. Good weekend to all .

Best regards
