I have been looking for a good framer for a long, long time.

I am sure that many are very good, but very few could live up to the expectations I had. In September this year a found a good partner in Berlin. They made me three prototypes to take home and look at: One in black stained hardwood, one stained in a lighter colour and this one in waxed American nut wood. They made it by mistake, actually, but it turned out as a diamond of perfection and looks.

Corners spliced with nut wood, also. No metal. Museum glass, definitely.

Every frame a little different from each other. With their own soul. Over time they will mature in a different way. Become a little lighter. Take colour of their surroundings.

They are going to last a lifetime.

All will come sealed in limited editions.

Thus I have framed the frame. Hand made to my specification. They just did it. I call it simply The Frame.
